Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Gunter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ruler. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mortician they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Personality: Gerard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and he is greedy

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
