History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
