History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Nicholas was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Soapmaker. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Farmer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Cartwright but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Clerebold was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
