In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Godfrey alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns.
