History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His first spouse was a Navigator, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Rolf hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
