History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Everard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Everard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Reynard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
