Jocelyn Rutland, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: 5'11" and muscular, this southern man wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered violet stockings. He has a very tight haircut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. A true patriot, Jocelyn would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He was born at the edge of vast island. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a shortbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
Ideals: Athletic, Opinionated. Flaws: Insane. Bonds: Military, Nature. Occupation: Mason
Voice: Squeaky

Justin Merton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has silver hair. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker brown hat.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Adelard Bristol, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty yellow coat over it. His red hair is cut short. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Adelard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others
Flaws: Ugly, Fearful. Bonds: Adventurer, Rich. Occupation: Ploughman
Voice: Uses lots of figures of speech

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization.
