History: Gifted from a young age, Nicholas studied abroad. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Guy is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's in love; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: To be a Adventurer again.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

History: Dean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
