He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and revenge

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His first spouse was a Servant, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Tailor and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Cory was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.
