Upon awakening, Hubert discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hubert fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Born in the east to a Sailor, Gunter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Sailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Charles was born the youngest of three triplets. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
