History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. The war was a terrible time for him, and Cory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man wears a blue tunic with black highlights, and long blue pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his left hand. He wears a top hat to cover his moderate length black hair. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He got into the Body Guard business at a young age. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Manfred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He tends to his Body Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Trey wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions
