History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Miles grew up listening to his father's many stories. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
