Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Miles embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: This man is dressed in a clean tan cloak covering his clean studded leather, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His silver hair is unkempt and raggedy. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Roland was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His first spouse was a Courier, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Miles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
