History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Shane was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shane's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: He got into the Knight business at a young age. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Knight. He has taken up work as a Knight and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A freak accident while working with his Stylist father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
