History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Map Maker business.

History: He was born in the south. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Gerald was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Performer. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His head has been shaved. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Peter hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He worked as a nervous Blacksmith and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs; and further expansion of business

Description: He usually wears his tan robe and has his scythe always slung over his shoulder. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his scythe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. He wears his auburn hair down. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Lance is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his youth he was a Shipwright, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and an old rival family wants him found
