History: Chad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is a Detective first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Sage profession.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and to unite with his brother

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Roger alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'8" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. He wears a colorful flower in his silver hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Everard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Shoemaker and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shoemaker responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor
