Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. This violet eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. John was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. John decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born to a Miller, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ploughman for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Miller again; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and money/treasure
