His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is used to getting what he wants. History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Chad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Assassin business.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: Hugh was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Hugh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Hugh was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.
