History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Miles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Frederick hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
