When William reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a scythe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. His head has been shaved. His gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a barber and was forced into it by his family

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Dean was born the youngest of three triplets. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
