When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Roger alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Scribe kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
