History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after William was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. William's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He struck the Dilettante job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His hair is black and very short. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spy.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion

Description: This man wears a pastel vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His green leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his pastel boots flare out at the collars, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He has styled his brown hair well, parting it to the left. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He worked as a nervous Fortune-teller and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult; and to end his boredom

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured, marred by sweets. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
