Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he wants revenge against brigands

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy golden stubble. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with green colored cloaks and clothing. He has a hunchback. His golden hair is greasy and uncared for. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: Shane is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his father's many stories. A freak accident while working with his Detective father left him crippled. During his travels, Shane and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shane discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Shane fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

Flaws: Ugly, Depressed, Disease. Bonds: Enemies, Adventurer. Occupation: Bricklayer

Personality: Heward hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To be a Guard again; and sabotage a competitor

Ideals: Artistic, Logical, Gifted. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Criminal record, Job. Occupation: Apothecary

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
