His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

His skin is also unnaturally pale. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Stableman mother left him crippled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption

Description: 6'6" and muscular, this southern man is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Butcher. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Aldous's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and money/treasure

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered yellow stockings. His auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
