History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is dressed in a clean brown cloak covering his clean studded leather. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has brown eyes.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Bernard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Sporting a silver mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Shoemaker profession.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has worked as a Bather like his father before him.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He has achieved small success as a Navigator.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business
