Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He comes from a rich western family. After coming to the age of reason, Roland took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Lance lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He became a Ruler soon after.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Justin was born with his father's beautiful face. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
