History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is red and curly. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Roger was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Roger decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now owns his own business.
