Description: He is renowned for his bright black suits and hats. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Randal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. With bright blonde hair and a scraggly beard. His blue eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This man stands a little under 5'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears tattered old clothes. His head has been shaved. His eyes are brown and beady.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Layabout soon after.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: This slender man stands about 5'5". He wears bulky tan painted plate armor. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His ears are large.
Personality: Everard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Everard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Everard. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. During his travels, Lewis and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Lewis discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Lewis fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: He is greedy; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
