He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Hubert has worked very hard to control his curse. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: Hubert is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Hubert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
