Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: Adelard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
