History: Bernard was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he usually wears his green robe and has his morningstar always slung over his shoulder. His golden hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His ears are large.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Patrick was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.

Description: An older man who wears green trousers with black and red striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts, he is not a threatening figure. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's also a talented Beggar, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.
