History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mayor for the past few years.
