History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miller.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: Adam lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Adam was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Adam's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
