History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he dresses well, wearing blue shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His hair is long and white with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Frederick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shoemaker for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shoemaker responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Engraver.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again.

His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Banker who has hired him part-time. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Norman was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Animal Trainer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.
