Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. A freak accident while working with his Spice Merchant mother left him crippled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: This western man is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is long and silver with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in the west to a Sage, Dustin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sage.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His silver hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Randal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and doesn't want to be a dilettante and was forced into it by his family

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He typically wears blue cloth garments or leather armor. He keeps his silver hair in a pixie cut. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Cory has worked very hard to control his curse. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.
