Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Richard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with pastel colored cloaks and clothing. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Manfred will drive conversation. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Manfred was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He struck the Mason job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
