History: Shane was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Ralf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To unite with his sister.

Description: 6'0" and muscular, this southern man is wearing a tight brown one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. He wears his golden hair down. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Godfrey was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
