Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Miles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family.

His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is an amazing painter.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Percival was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To protect his home.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Bernard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bernard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
