History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Richard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Richard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Richard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a Ploughman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He got into the Ploughman business at a young age. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult; and he's looking for his big break

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'10" when asserting himself. He has wavy red hair. His ears are large.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born into a rich family. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: Expand his business; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he prefers to wear black pants and tee shirts. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears bulky grey painted plate armor. His blonde hair has been sun bleached extensively. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Miles wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to raise his children well
