Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lance embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lance does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Adelard's homeland. Adelard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.
