History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Bertram's homeland. Bertram decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Odo was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Odo fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Frederick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Miller and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miller for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Beggar again; and balancing his hectic life and new miller responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.
