History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hugh was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His first spouse was a Dyer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Diggory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Interpreter for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Interpreter responsibilities is difficult.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
