Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has no hair. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Dean is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Dean was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Engraver profession.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. He tends to his Dyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: Human compassion; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears baggy white pantaloons and a black scarf. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. This green eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is a Server first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Adam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and he has a crush on the local butcher

Description: This late middle aged man wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a kukri, but if one is not available he will default to his glaive and is in decent physical shape. His silver hair is cut short. His ears are large.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Wymar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Wymar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Wymar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
