Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lance does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Lance was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A freak accident while working with his Bricklayer mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dean grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dean. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
