To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
