Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Soapmaker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off.
