He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Bernard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has money and likes to spend it

He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Percival lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and wants to raise his children well

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he's looking for his big break

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He has a very tight haircut. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barrister hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.
