History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born in the east to a Ploughman, Randal learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Ploughman and found it very stressful. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: This man stands a little under 5'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His amber eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is a Engraver first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He takes great joy in being the best Engraver in town.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and balancing his hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult

Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'1" when asserting himself. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hunter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hunter was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Hubert hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and someone believes him a fraud
