History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Interpreter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Odo was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Interpreter. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Geoffrey was born with his father's beautiful face. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
