He worked as a Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. One day when Bertram was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Bertram was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a white feathered hat and white clothes. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Manfred is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
